My handcrafted shaker lockets are filled with fine artist pigments. Each locket measures about 13mm wide and 22mm tall including the bail.

MALACHITE is a green pigment first made in the fourth dynasty of ancient Egypt from the green stone malachite. It was used not only as a wall paint for tombs but also eye makeup. Since the stone was widespread so spread the use of tiny ground particles as pigment through ancient China and the Middle East. It is still made today by grinding malachite stone and the particle size impacts the way it interacts with light, giving a variety of values depending on how finely you grind it.

You can add chains or earring findings here if desired. Make sure to get two lockets if you plan to have a pair of earrings made.
