Indigo Pigment Locket
Indigo Pigment Locket
My handcrafted shaker lockets are filled with fine artist pigments. Each locket measures about 13mm wide and 22mm tall including the bail.
INDIGO is a blue dye derived from leaves of the indigo plant and its first known use dates to more than 6,000 years ago in what is now Peru. It has a rich history of being traded around the world and is still in use today to dye fibers and fabrics blue, from Japan to North America.
Handcrafted to order, please allow up to 8 weeks for your pigment jewelry to be made.
You can add chains or earring findings here if desired. Make sure to get two lockets if you plan to have a pair of earrings made.
Note: I can make these lockets with any material inside. Contact me if you would like a different pigment used. If you have your own object (other than pigment) that you would like put in a locket, please reach out here.
