Hokkaido Orange Pigment Locket
Hokkaido Orange Pigment Locket
My handcrafted shaker lockets are filled with fine artist pigments. Each locket measures about 13mm wide and 22mm tall including the bail.
HOKKAIDO ORANGE is an orange pigment which originated in modern Japan. The pigment was named after the Hokkaido pumpkin, a variety of pumpkin known for its beautiful rich orange color. In other contexts it is called by other names such as Turner or Naples Yellow. It is mostly used in artistic applications as a paint or a translucent wash.
Handcrafted to order, please allow up to 8 weeks for your pigment jewelry to be made.
You can add chains or earring findings here if desired. Make sure to get two lockets if you plan to have a pair of earrings made.
Note: I can make these lockets with any material inside. Contact me if you would like a different pigment used. If you have your own object (other than pigment) that you would like put in a locket, please reach out here.
