This pendant was created with a real specimen of a Dynastes hercules beetle grub. The larva failed to thrive and was preserved by an entomologist friend. I made a mold, injected the mold with wax, then sculpted out the areas that had sunken in when the grub died. That wax was then cast and molded again, resulting in the final product!

Available with or without 18 small black diamonds set in the grub’s spiracles (breathing holes). Diamond example photo shown in second image. Detailed on both sides, solid all the way through. Wear it solo for a polished look or layer it with a few other pieces to create the charm stack of your dreams!

Grub pendant only, chain not included. To complete the look, add a chain.
