Learn to spread your own atlas beetle specimen! In this workshop you will work with a specimen that has already been rehydrated as you learn to stretch, manipulate, pose, and care for arthropod specimens. Appropriate for all ages and experience levels.

You will leave with your own spread beetle ready to dry at home, the knowledge to repeat the process with your own specimens in the future, and of course you’ll keep your tool set too. A follow-up email will include access to a downloadable digital guide to everything covered in class and more.

Space is limited.

Class is taking place at my studio inside Mana Contemporary in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. Mana has its own free parking lot and is accessible by the Cermak & Throop bus stop.
